Add your team

Build bookable profiles for everyone who delivers your services, with their own hours and time off.

What adding a team member does

A team member is anyone who delivers a service and can be booked — a stylist, a doctor, a technician, a tutor. Adding someone here creates their bookable profile: their name, services, and hours on the booking page and calendar. It does not give them a login — that's a separate step, covered below.

Add a team member

  1. Go to https://www.slotwise.skotechlabs.com/app/team-members and click Add team member.
  2. Fill in their profile:
    • Name
    • Title — their role, for example "Senior Stylist" or "Dr."
    • Photo
    • Bio — shown to customers choosing between team members.
    • Colour — used to identify their appointments on the Calendar.
    • Email/phone
  3. Turn on Bookable online if customers should be able to book this person directly from the booking page.
  4. Turn on Include in Any available if this person should be considered when a customer lets Slotwise assign anyone available, instead of picking a specific person.
  5. Choose which services they perform. Where a service allows it, give them their own price or length from that service's own settings.
  6. Set their hours. Either:
    • use the business's opening hours, or
    • set their own weekly hours, with several time ranges per day so you can build in breaks — for example 9:00–12:30 and 13:30–17:00.
  7. Add any time off — a full day away, or just a range of hours on a given day, such as a lunchtime appointment elsewhere.
  8. Click Save.

Give them a login

The profile you just created controls what customers see and book. It doesn't let that person sign in to Slotwise. To give a team member their own login, go to Settings → Team access and send an invite with a role, linking it to their team-member profile — see "Team access and roles" for the full walkthrough.

Tip Give every team member a distinct colour. It makes the Calendar far easier to scan once you have more than two or three people on it.

Tip Write a real bio, not just a job title. On the booking page, it's often what helps a customer choose one team member over another.

Tip If someone works the same hours as the business every week, leave their hours on the business default — you'll only need to update the schedule in one place if it changes.

Tip Turn off Bookable online for anyone who takes appointments by phone only, or who isn't ready to appear on the public booking page yet.
